Photos and notes
Web photos, notes and editing settings are stored in your browser. Originals are kept without recompression. Keep your own exports or backups in case browser data is cleared or your device fails.
Google Drive sync
Sync is used when you turn it on. Photos, notes and settings are stored in the linked Google Drive app-data area. Earlier versions are retained and use Drive storage. Turning sync off does not delete existing cloud data or local changes waiting to be sent.
Purchases and your Google account
Purchase linking uses the account identifier issued by Google and your Google Play purchase token. The verification server stores purchase tokens in encrypted form to recheck purchase status and prevent duplicate ownership links. Photos and notes are not sent to the purchase-verification server.
External services
The planned service uses Google authentication, Play and Drive, with Cloudflare for hosting and APIs. These providers receive information such as IP addresses needed for communication. The current Web code does not include advertising or behavioral analytics tools.
